New Chargers coach has to turn Rivers around

New Chargers coach has to turn Rivers around

The NFL?s Fab Four may be preparing for Sunday?s Super Bowl prelim but for everybody else it?s time to figure out what went wrong.

In Seattle, head coach Pete Carroll didn?t waste time pin-pointing Job 1.

He needs to clone J.J. Watt.

In San Diego, there is hope a new coach can figure out how to keep Philip Rivers from turning into Mark Sanchez.

In Cleveland, they?ve sold the name of the stadium for a big influx of corporate cash and, in Kansas City, Andy Reid is trying to find out if his offence has a pulse.

?We need another pass rusher,? Carroll said, after the Seahawks failed to lay a finger on quarterback Matt Ryan in their playoff farewell. ?We went out and got Jason (Jones) last year. And we?re going to have to double it up. We need a couple of guys.?

Seattle?s secondary and run defence was the key to allowing the fewest points per game in the league.
