Drug test trouble for 'Teen Mom' Amber?

Madison County Sheriff Departmen / AP

"Teen Mom's" Amber Portwood insists she didn't skip a required drug test. On Thursday, a judge will decide if that's really the case.

Amber Portwood may be in trouble again, this time for failing to take a mandatory daily drug test that was a condition of her probation in her December drug arrest, according to various media accounts.

If true, not only would it put her at risk of being sent to the slammer, but she'd also leave behind 2-year-old daughter Leah for the foreseeable future.

In an exclusive interview with E! News, Portwood vehemently denied the allegations.

"I would be in jail if I skipped" she told us. "Honestly, I don't give a s--- what people are saying...I'm doing what I have to do...they are not a concern of mine."

If a court rules Thursday that she failed to live up to her probation obligations, the MTV personality could face up to five years in prison, which was the sentence she received in January for a felony drug-possession charge.

The punishment was suspended, however, after Portwood accepted a plea deal that allowed her to enter an eight-month outpatient rehab at Sister 2 Sister Ministries, a halfway house where she underwent counseling and daily screenings.

But a source close to the 21-year-old told E! News that Amber did indeed go for the required urine test, but she sat for over an hour and "just couldn't pee," and media outlets, notably TMZ, spun it as if she never took it.

Let's hope for her sake the judge agrees, otherwise Portwood could be remanded into custody to serve out the original jail term.

The reality star pleaded guilty in January to possession of a controlled substance and violating her probation by being caught with an unauthorized prescription medication.
