MTV is turning to a Mean Girls to host its upcoming afternoon karaoke competition series Copycat.
Jonathan Bennett has been tapped to host the singing competition series, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Copycat, from The Bachelor's Mike Fleiss, features singers battling it out on stage in a bid to sound like their favorite recording artists. The studio audience will vote on each performance, with winners walking away with a cash prize and the title of the "Ultimate Copycat."

Bennett, who played Lindsay Lohan's love interest in Mean Girls, will host all 20 episodes of the daily afternoon series. His credits include Lovewrecked, The Dukes of Hazzard, Cheaper by the Dozen and National Lampoon's Van Wilder: Freshman Year.
Fleiss will executive produce alongside Brendon Carter (Gene Simmons: Family Jewels, Brooke Knows Best). The Glee Project's Matt Laesch will co-executive produce, while Lauren Dolgen, Kristina Edwards and Jennifer Russakoff will oversee the Next Entertainment and Warner Horizon effort for MTV.
Bennett is repped by AKA, Talent Works, Evolution and McKuin Frankel. An exact premiere date for Copycat has yet to be announced.
